How we handle your data

What we store
Your email, a hash of your password if you create an account, the app links you add, the verification token for each app, and the reports we generate. A report keeps a shortened hint of any secret, plus the URL we requested and what came back. It does not keep the full secret. If you use Studio, we also store the studio name you type. If you join the waitlist, we store that email. If you pay, Stripe stores the card. We store a Stripe customer id, not the card number.
How long
Account, app, and report data stay until you delete the app or ask us to delete the account. Waitlist emails stay until you ask to be removed. We do not set an automatic expiry.
Checks are read-only
A check sends GET and HEAD requests only. It does not log in as a user, change rows, or guess passwords. It only sees what an outsider can reach. A check does not run until you prove the app is yours.
Nothing is sold
We do not sell your email, your app list, or your reports. We do not share them with advertisers. If an optional explanation key is configured, redacted finding text may be sent to that provider to rewrite one paragraph. The built-in text is used when no key is set. Email alerts, when you turn Watch on, go through our mail provider and only when that key is set.
How to delete
Open the app in your dashboard and delete it. That removes the app, its checks, and its reports. To delete the whole account, or a waitlist email, write to hello@vibevet.app and we will remove it.
